“LITTLE CRUMBLES” is a home day care, licensed by the State of California for 14 children. We purpose to provide quality care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school age children in a family setting. We understand that play is a child’s work and leads to the development of life skills.
Care providers have clear FBI and Dept. of Justice background checks, are finger printed
and have a negative TB Test.
Christine Kanbergs is a Mother of 5, 3 boys and 2 girls & Grandma to 6. She home educated 3 of her children for 15 years. Her education is in Child Development. She holds the following certificates as required by the state of California:
Preventative Health and Safety including Infectious Diseases Practices and Policies in a group care setting.
CPR - Adult, Children and Infants.
Scott Neggesmith, a retired builder/carpenter, has 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren. He provides positive support on the yard, picks up at local schools and delights the children with his presence. He is like a grandfather.
We strive to meet the individual needs of children in their home for the day. This is their family away from home. Care is given so the children are together in a homgenious group rather then age segregated.
We support our working parents by providing a healthy and worry free environment for their children that stimulate their growth and developement. Our gated yard has 3 main play areas, two are covered with visually attractive canopies for sun protection. Gates are used throughout the home for safety and caution.
We believe children should honor their parents and others. We believe parents are their child’s first and best teacher and are the ones who should make precious memories with them. Positive day care experiences are important memories but the ones made with family will stand the test of time.
Little Crumbles is centrally located in Alameda, California. Our home was built in 1904 and our family has owned it since 1950. Children have been raised in this home for the last 58 years. The home has spacious rooms that are set up for active learning, a large playroom and a yard filled with opportunities for discovery and friendships to blossom in our garden. |
