Childcare was a natural avenue for me to pursue with my practical experience first as a mother, second through life experience with siblings, and third through practical experience as a teacher and church nursery volunteer.

As part of continuing education and professional development, I periodically attend training and seminars on child development, health and nutrition, and curriculum design.

I have an undergraduate and masters degree from the University of the Philippines. My previous work experience includes more than six years of teaching, three years of legislative work, and five years of fundraising, public relations, and special events management. I have been affiliated with three educational institutions in Dallas: University of Dallas, The Hillcrest Academy, and The North Hills School.

I am registered with the State of Texas and a member of the Texas Professional Home Child Care Association (TPHCCA). (I am pursuing licensing with the state.) I also have a local membership with the Metrocrest Association of Family Child Care (MAFCC). My family and I attend Valley View Christian Church. Ray and I have been married for seven years and our son Nicholas is 5 years old.
